The

Fensalir Lodges

are three very well maintained and cosy historical buildings, which are located directly next to each other in the picturesque village of Kvívík on the main Faroese Isle of Streymoy.

They are the ideal starting point for spectacular hikes in overwhelming scenery, for bird watching tours underneath majestic cliffs or for the finest sport fishing in direct neighbourhood.

Mauritia Kirchner, herself a passionate fly fisherman is living on the Faroes, her ‘adopted home’ for almost 15 years and is regarded as a pioneer in her chosen field. She has a great affection for the country and works informally to engage with travellers who are interested in angling. She has already published numerous magazine articles, a travel guide especially for those interested in fishing, and was a guest, and a consultant on several television documentaries. As landlady of Lodge "Heimi í Stovu" and Lodge Gimle on the “Islands of Sheep” she is welcoming you with a heartfelt

"Vælkomin!"
